The Golden FROG

This short film "The Golden Frog" entirely made with blender, gimp, my paint and other free/open source program. the movie has been made by Manish Pandit. In this movie, Manish Pandit had a faced lot of challenge and worked hard in this movie. cause all project has been completed by himself.He worked as a director, animator, modeling artist, sound design, editing, concept etc.Manish Pandit takes two years and so to complete this project. During this project, he left his jobs and other opportunities to complete his short movie the "The Golden Frog".

 

The challenge:-

             Although director Manish Pandit also worked before in commercial software like Maya, Adobe etc. He wants to make this movie in 3D-computer animation. whether Manish Pandit knows about blender software but he was not familiar with Maya. Then he started to learn more about blender software besides his work and he felt and realized that it's really very comfortable to work in the blender than Maya and a most important thing that is free.

Manish faced most challenging part of a mechanical rig in a food truck.He has entry-level graphics card during the rendering which was very tough for him.

 

About characters:-

In " The Golden Frog" Two characters in this movie.one character is a chef. In the movie, chef earns money to sell fish dishes from his food truck. the chef has a cunning and piggish personality. second is Frog. A frog is the main protagonist and he is very clever. Frog's hidden power when his skin touches to any steel metal than metal convert and become the gold. Frog likes to believe in friendship with a human.

 

Synopsis:-

There is a Chef. He cooks fish in a food truck. He has a friendship with a Frog. During a drought period, the Chef tries to kill the frog. As soon as knife touches the frog’s skin something magical happens. 

 

Logline:-

The chef is kindness, friendly, helping nature. he cooks foods in food truck his friendship with one frog and he always gives bait to the frog. in drought period he upset, worried, Predatory, greediness and try to kill the frog.
